This evening I am very annoyed! But rather than ranting I'm going to chill out and finally post some of my cosplay pictures up from Ayacon 09, yay! Me and Cassi had such an amazing weekend and we both worked so hard at our costumes (hardly slept for the week before!)

And it's back to the sewing machine (well, hand sewing till I buy one!) as we're going out military style this Friday, bought some great pink camo fabric today to play with. I'm getting as practised as I can before my fashion course, only 2 weeks away! Honestly I can't wait to start college again, I'm quite sick of Rockys and think a change of pace would do me good. Filling in my loan application tonight so fingers crossed I get it!

So I got LJ so that I had something to do at work when I was bored, but turns out I've been super busy instead! Thought I'd post an update though as I am really super excited about going to Ayacon tomorrow *squee!* Spent the last week sewing my cosplays and I fear my fingers may drop off! Only one outfit to go though! Unfortunately lost my rail card though so gonna have to fork out for a new one :( Means less money to spend on silly crap at Aya, waaah!

Other good news, I gots me a kitten! He's only 14 weeks old and called Sprocket and I loves him so <3 Will post pics after the weekend, have a good one! ^_^

The whole point of me starting a new live journal was so i had something to do to while away the hours at work when I had nothing better to do. Unfortunately I've been so busy lately I've barely had time for Facebook nevermind writing a proper post! I'm not really enjoying working in the office that much for Rockys, it seemed fun at first but I had a rose tinted view of what I'd actually be doing up here. Ah well, my college interview is only 2 weeks away *squee!*

Other than work I've been incredibly busy lately, missioning up and down the country getting up to all sorts of shenanigans. A few weeks ago I was in Manchester for the Apop gig and Jillys, i was a bit unsure about the gig as I've not heard apop's new album and heard off everyone how terrible it is. Fortunately they only played one new song and all my old favourites so I actually really enjoyed myself! Then we hit Jillys and had the subsequent after party, then pre post after party, then the post after party and so on, very fun weekend in all!

A couple of weeks after this it was he Uber coach to London, to go see Uberbyte play in London at the Purple Turtle in Camden. We all started drinking very early in the day on the coach, then upon arrival had a wander about the Camden stalls and nipped in a couple of bars, by the time the gig started I was quite pleasently wrecked :) Uberbyte were fun, though I got knackered dancing because it was so bloody hot in there! We were supposed to stay at the Purple Turtle for the night but i ended up running off with Rob and a couple of lads from Sheffield to mission accross London to find Antichrist. We met up with Rik and eventually found Antichrist, it was pretty fun but not the best club I've ever been to. I definately wouldn't pay £20 to get in which is the normal fee apparently! That morning me and Rob had to find our way back to Sutton, several pubic transport journeys and one abandoned petrol station later we got back and pretty much died till Sunday hehe,

Then we were in London AGAIN the weekend just gone for Slimes, Covenent and Mesh, once again awesome weekend but I can't be bothered to type it all up, see the paragraph above and add an Alex, Roxanne, Sue and Leon and you get the picture.

Aiming for Corp this Saturday, it'll be the first time in over a month and I'm actually starting to miss it! Hopefully there'll be pleny of people there and we can all have a happy awesome fun night, don't forget the Jaeger ;)

More nights of weird dreaming, last night's was zombie based but I have to say I do enjoy a good zombie dream. Normally I don't have guns, but this one was filled with head splattery action :)

Went out for Skat's 30th last night, me and Alex bought him a rubber head with all the sin removed so it was just muscles and veins. He really seemed to like it so I think we did well. Afetr the pub me, Sue, Leon and Alex rocked out to Rock Band 2 (rather drunkenly), we didn't do too bad and now I have Jimmy Eat World stuck in my head.

Walking to work this morning I was thinking about Zogg later, and what would happen if I fed Zogg a cheesecake. Would it become a Zoghurt? Then I realised I've been playing WAY too much Viva Pinata. So much I'm going to get a Pinata tattoo, and somehow I've managed to convince Cassi and Sue this is a good idea too. Just need to pick a design now! Tonight's plan of action is Pinata it up and pick one for inking, Zoggity Zogg and then dying through Saturday. And with Bendy Mouse tomorrow evening I couldn't think of a better weekend :D

Often I have very odd dreams, some make sense, others don't but last night's one was particularly weird. I dreamt there was a scientist who was in love with a woman, I had to protect the woman and get her somewhere safe because the scientist wanted to turn her into a dog and marry her. There were several long chase scenes and the scientist injecting people with a serum that turned them into animals, and eventually he caught up with us and got the woman. Because I'd got in his way, he injected me too and put me to work on his flower patch, I started turning into a hare and remember leaping about the flower beds with giant hair legs and a twisted human/bunny face.

Then it all got a bit weirder, the flowers started singing to me and I realised they used to be people too, and the scientist had transformed thousands of people to make his garden, I panicked and realised that I'd be the same so jumped in a river and drowned myself.

So when I woke up this morning the least I could say is I felt a little odd.

So I'm finally back on Live Journal again, it's been about 5 years or so and I felt the need for a new profile! Last time I used LJ it was full of bitchy snidy comments and people talking about baths and eating toast, I can only pray it's somehow changed but I very much doubt it. Ah well, I basically just wanted somewhere to ramble on during boring hours at work but I promise no 'Ugh I'm bored *angst* comment me!' etc I'll try and keep it all at least slightly interesting!

So I guess the next thing to do is get my profile up to scratch, tried to do it earlier today but Pete spent all afternoon in the office at work. It did give me an oppurtunity to play one of my favourite games though, do absolutely nothing and not get caught. Sometimes I can spend a whole hours randomly clicking e-mails and bits of the website and pretend to be hard at work while I drift away and people watch out of my window. I pretty much got away with it!

Anyways I'm gonna lock up and go home and do some sewing, finished my shrug on Sunday and I'm  starting on a matching top, hopefully I'll have a brand new shiny outfit to wear to Wendy House on Saturday, whee!
